TKS Exhibitions, the organizers of ITE Hong Kong, shared that the event will open as scheduled in August. ITE Hong Kong 2020 is produced by TKS Exhibition Services and supported by many others including China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Macao Government Tourism Office and the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong. While the event will be smaller in size, attendees are keen to return to LIVE, which is why TKS plans to move forward.
Many health precaution measures will be in place such as temperature checks, limits on visitor numbers where necessary, and spacing between booth clusters. There were over 1,500 respondents to a TKS open survey about interest in attending the event of which 40% expressed confidence as soon as border regulations are lessened. TKS will continue to monitor the security protocols in anticipation of ITE.
