Exhibitions to Restart in China

UFI, the Global Association of the Events Industry, shared that the Chinese State Council recently updated COVID-19 policies regarding the MICE industry. Conferences and exhibitions will be able to start again with strict guidelines and safety measures in place.

Closed entertainment locations, including libraries, cinemas, and arenas, to name a few, will be able to hold conferences and exhibitions. Entertainment spaces will be open with reservations

Restaurants and hotels are opening their doors to customers. This news, following the success of the Hunan Auto Show April 30-May 5, and the re-opening of Shanghai Disney World, is encouraging as life in China starts the new normal.

With strict prevention measures in place, shopping malls, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants should be all opened. Reservations will be used for parks and scenic tourism spots. Additionally, indoor areas and closed entertainment places, such as libraries and cinemas, will be allowed to hold conferences and exhibitions if necessary.
